	Raven Schlossberg November 14 - December 21, 2002
	Raven Schlossberg’s densely layered collages are composed of images culled from her obsessive searches through thousands of pages of visual culture. These extracted reproductions, ranging from illustrations in children’s story books to photographs from back issues of American Home and Afternoon TV, to snapshots sent in by readers of swinger’s magazines, form a working structure onto which Schlossberg builds narratives and suggestions of her recurring themes. These include childhood sexuality, the awkwardness of adolescence, sexual stereotypes, romance, marriage, infidelity, and divorce.
